APP STORE

So your CALL device does, actually, have an APP store. And while it has just about anything you'd find on your typical iPhone/Android/Windows phone, it also has a few apps that are specific to the Seven-Fold City.

PreLoaded Apps
✯ SFC!Weather - a weather app that covers the various weather conditions for the Cities within the SFC; as mentioned, some Cities have anomalous weather patterns or a strange night/day ratio, so that information is provided as well.
✯ SFC!Music - where your character can buy and listen to music from literally any universe
✯ SFC!Movies/TV - where your character can buy and watch television shows/movies from literally any universe; please abide by 4th Wall/Canon puncture rules but there are no other restrictions
✯ SFC!Books - where your character can buy and read any print media from literally any universe; please abide by 4th Wall/Canon puncture rules but there are no other restrictions
✯ CALL Network - the app used to communicate on the CALL Network

Processed (Apped) Characters Only ✯ SFC!Maps - a basic map app which provides the location information found on the SFC page. ✯ CAD/HERO Network - the app used by villains/heroes to access the CAD/HERO networks; a character will only have access to the appropriate one for that character ✯ Transport - this will teleport your character to the Seven-Fold City or transport them BACK to their homeworld, depending on where they're located. They're here. ✯ WSFC - the app where WSFC Broadcasts can be heard; like a podcast, there is an archive available should your character be curious about the past. ✯ App Store - where your character can pick up other apps and games. ✯ Toolbox - where your character pick up tips and a toolkit for designing their own apps.

ToolBox
This app exists on all fully activated CALL devices, and for the electronically inclined, it's got just about every feature and supports just about any programming language you might care to use. It even supports integration with homeworld technology/powers, if your character has the capability to figure out how.

If your character, IC, has designed an app, fill out the APP DESIGNED section appropriately; if you or your character would just like to request an app, there is a place in the app (and a place here) to put that request in.

Please note that player-designed apps cannot break or circumvent the rules of the game as established: no traveling directly to other worlds, no apps to 'steal' other people's CALL devices via teleportation, etc. And the mods DO reserve the right to veto any app they feel will be detrimental to the game. That said... have at!
