Check In and MI points
As of Nov 13th, 2016, the game does not HAVE an Activity Check.
Instead, at this point, we will have a Check In with all apped players to see whether or not the player would like to continue to play in the gamespace. All that is required of a player is to go to the monthly check in post and let the mods know that they're still around and still interested. That's it.
Any characters who do not check in will be swept from the community by the tenth of the next month. No harm, no foul; you can app again if you'd like. You can even use the same application you used the first time. But we're hoping that this may work better for this small and occasionally slow little game.
Which isn't to say there aren't incentives to play! What we're putting in instead is a point system: MI (McAran Industries) points, to be more exact. MI points can be used for both IC and OOC features, and are earned both by posting and by playing in people's posts. IC purchases can be done either OOC (player decided) or IC (character decided) as you prefer.
MI points will be counted and tabulated at each check in. Any comments after the tabulation for the month from the same thread/post can be added onto the next month's check in.
There will also be other opportunities to earn MI points, which will be mentioned at that time. For the moment, there are only a few things available via MI Points, but we're always open to suggestions and we hope to add more.
To specify, only processed players (aka, those who have properly apped) can claim or use points. Any player who drops or who has been swept loses what points they have accumulated up until that point, so please be mindful.
